Handed me over to debt collectors but I cancelled the product last year, still being billed apparently!

I cancelled my MTN FTTH, which I only had for 1 month, in December last year and asked MTN to move my line to Cool Ideas, which they did. I received a call in this week saying I have been handed over for non payment of a product that I cancelled in Decemeber yet I am still being billed for it. I can't receive any invoices online yet I apparently owe them R7000. The most useless company with no assistance and no clue what they are doing.
