Great Service Undone by a Terrible Courier Partner

I’m really disappointed with MTN’s choice of courier. I ordered a SIM card, and the contract clearly states I can provide my ID, driver’s license, or passport to the courier for delivery. When the driver arrived, I presented my passport — a perfectly valid form of identification — and he refused to hand over my package. His excuse was that his scanner “doesn’t scan passports.”

Because of this, I now have to cancel my order entirely. It’s beyond frustrating that a company the size of MTN partners with a courier that can’t even handle basic processes like accepting a valid passport. MTN, your courier choice let you down, and in turn, let your customer down.
