I am struggling to solve the issue of being forced by MTN to pay for the contract that I did not consent to.

MTN has opened a contract without my consent, I actually had a contract with them and ended in December 2022 but MTN continued to charge me, telling me I have to go to MTN store to cancel my contract, in which I did. They told me I owed them R3000, therefore,I have to settle my debt if I want to cancel a contract. I paid them in full and my contract was cancelled. now I have received a new statement in July stating that I have immigrated to a new contract and I will be paying R202.01 monthly.

Kindly assist in terminating this contract because I know nothing about it and I did not consent to any new contract, I feel like I have been ***** by MTN, and this is going to drag my name to credit bureau because I won't be paying for something that I did not consent to, I do not even have nor use the MTN contract sim card anymore because I threw it away after settling the debt.
