Getting billed for a contract that doesnt even exist

<p>Hello</p> <p> </p> <p>Years ago, i took an iPhone 5c with MTN via Nashua which was not closed after the agreed 24 months contract. No problem, i decided to go have the contact cancelled once i learned that the contract was not to be cancelled automatically. When i got to the MTN Store in Middleburg, I was told that i would have to pay a certain fee first, which i did! And,to my understanding was cancelled. Even the woman confirmed it that very day. To my shock, I have recently heard from some lawyer who called to inform me that I owe MTN to the upward of R7000,00+ for a contract sim card that i long had cancelled in Middleburg. I called the simcard yesterday and the number does not even exist. Once again MTN is trying to rob me, Please Help!</p> <p> </p> <p>the number is ********** 123</p>
