Frustrated with MTN Inconsistency

Went to the MTN store in Capegate to cancel one of my contracts and was told to come back on the day that the contract expires, which is today. Alternatively, I could call 135 to do the same. Called the call center to do it today and was told I could only do it tomorrow.

Why is there a difference how cancellations are handled between store and call center.

Very frustrating when the same company cannot provide consistent information.
