Frustrated
I have made numerous requests to MTN for the legal dept to contact me but nobody has contacted me yet. I had an MTN account which I cancelled in 2013. I received statement from MTN in 2014 whereby my balance was in credit -R492.95. I was contacted by SSDA saying that MTN handed over the account with an amount of R 17861.46. SSDA says I owe them to date R 22 322.75 of which I have already paid them R 6000. I checked my credit report with the 2 credit bureaus and it states that my MTN balance is nil. I have phoned MTN several times and they just say the legal dept will contact me. It has been weeks now but still no response.

It is a week now and I still have not heard anything from MTN. How long will you take to respond. Do I now have to pay SSDA another payment at the end of this month? Or can I cancel my debit order.
