Why can't one person take responsibility of having a phone replaced?

I am struggling with coverage in an area that has always had excellent network coverage, First i had to contact the coverage call center, next i had to do a sim swap, now i have to had the phone assessed but mtn repair center is on strike. So far the process has taken 6 weeks, the phone is 3 months old. why cant this be resolved? by one person i cant keep taking off work to get something fixed over the next 6 weeks. not only can i not conduct business properly. but i am in fact paying for something i can not use. the total value of this contact to MTN is over R10 000. I expect someone to assist me ASAP.
Ps if you can not get a hold of me on my cell its cause there is something wrong with my phone. please try call multiple times till you get through
