Free Data ****
Today I received an sms from Mtn offering me 1gig data as a gift due to the connection issues for 2 days. I dialed the required *130*1# to activate the free data, once i received an sms notifying me that the free data has been activated I dialed *141*1# to see if it was in fact there and it was reflecting as well as my paid for data bundle. I started surfing the net and after 40 min I got a notification that I had depleted my data bundle, I thought this was strange as I could never have depleted 1GB in 40 min. I again checked my data only to find that all my paid for data and airtime was depleted and the so called free data was untouched. That's why I believe that this so called free data story was a **** by Mtn to get us to deplete all our data.
