********** sim swap
There were 3 ********** SIM swaps initiated on my cell phone number on the 22nd, 24th and evening of the 25th of January 2016. This is causing me great inconvenience as my cell phone number is not only used as a means of social communication but also for work purposes. It is also now costing me money as I am only allowed one free initial SIM swap on my number. Besides the inconvenience, how is it possible that a SIM swap be done while the customer is not physically in store? Requirements such as original I.D Book is a must including clients signature.

This is a matter of great concern to me and is totally unacceptable, especially since noting that MTN is a company that reaches into Africa itself and is not just a local company. As such, to have such security issues on clients accounts is unfathomable and totally unacceptable.

I expect this matter to be investigated thoroughly and resolved with the greatest efficiency as I understand I am not the only client experiencing this problem.
