********** sim porting of my number by MTn which is linked to my internet banking
MTN has ported my number from Vodacom to MTN without my concern .I realized on Monday when my number did not have network and I could not see notification on my account for internet transactions.I went to Vodacom yesterday and I was told the number was ported to Mtn on the 7th August 2018 which I don't know.I went to mTN savanna had in polokwane I was assisted by Thabang who called the porting dept,he later came back to say that the call was dropped while on line so he couldn't continue with the consultant he was speaking to.He told me it's late he will suspend the line for yesterday and will follow up the following day.I went there again at 9H40 today He told me he will reverse the porting to Vodacom.Later at around 10H30 I called Mtn customer care to check if the porting was done,I was told Vodacom cannot accept the porting back. The consultant was cut off while we were on conversation,I called again ,the other one said I must write an affidavit,go to the police while my money is not safe.I tried to explain the matter but they took the matter too casual.Alraedy my credit card there are transactions, but Mtn cannot bring my line back.I asked where was it done by who,the answer was that it doesn't show on the system .Till now my line is active and somebody is using my number .while this service provider is circulating alerts to its customers ,when you call Mtn they take it as normal business while your money is being taken by. **********
