********** Number Porting
My husbands phone number was **********ly ported to MTN today. We will be going to the police to report this matter. How can porting be done if he was not at an MTN store? We want all the documentation where the request was done and the port to be reversed with immediate effect!

His cellphone number is ********** . The number has been ported back to Cell C.
According to the staff at the MTN store in Northgate, my husband was supposed to get an sms where he needed to reply Yes or No for the porting to take place and that didn't happen.
The first sms he received was at around 17:40 to inform him that his request to port has been received and 1 minute later that the port was successfull he needs to go and Rica the simcard at an MTN store. This after he had huge issues signing in to his online banking profile earlier in the morning. He had to phone the bank to stop all his accounts.
Later on Friday evening, he could no longer make or receive any phone calls.
We are taking this very seriouly, as this is *****.
