********** Deductions by MTN
Its digusting how MTN treats its customers by refusing to cancel debit orders even after a cellphone contract has been cancelled and message confirming cancelation has been recieved. My contract reached the contract term of 24 months in June this year and my last debit order was supposed to be at end June 2020. After sending my notice of cancelation on 1 June, I was advised by Ashwen Solomon from their Retentions Department that my contract was canceled and that there would be no more debit orders but to date i still get debit orders from MTN albeit for a reduced amount, which is not as per the contract terms. I've sent Mr Ashwen numerous emails about this, including a demand for a refund of last month's debit order and he just keeps telling me that he will call me back which he never does. During a call last month (05,08,2020), he advised that a query has been logged on my behalf with reference number: *** but to date no feedback has been recieved or my money refunded. Now, Mr Ashwen does not return my emails.
