********** Contract taken out

I am so livid with both MTN and Standard Bank. This morning my account was debited for an amount of R419.74. When I called MTN, I was advised that it was for a contract taken out on 22nd March 2022. I never even liaised with anyone from MTN nor app**** online for any such contract. It has now become my problem for having to go to the police station for an affidavit to prove that this is a ********** contract taken out in my name. I am also disgusted by the bank for having allowed this unauthorised debit as I never even received any DebiCheck mandates from them for this.
