<p>This morning MTN deducted R6211.00 from my bank account. I have NEVER opened an account with MTN. </p> <p>When I called to rectify this, it was a mission. Most of the numbers on your website seem to be non-existent. I then got through to MTN direct and was transferred to the accounts dept where I was told to drop the call and call again - which I find EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! After calling again I spoke to an Indian lady who typed my ID number into the system and advised I have in fact opened an account. EXCUSE ME? They have all my details in their system, from ID to address to bank account details, EVERYTHING! When I asked how it is possible, the lady said something about ***** and police, I was then placed on hold and they then hung up. I called again! Spoke to man who was rude and unwilling to assist. I explained my situation again and asked if he is willing to help me or not but he could not even afford me the courtesy of an answer. What kind of business do you run? I have never even been in an MTN - all I know is they are yellow and now they are taking over my life?! Because of this unauthorised ********** ****, my actual debit orders bounced! I will never refer anyone to your company! </p> <p>I expect the professional courtesy of a response before close of business today. This matter better be resolved</p>
