********** activity from MTN telesales

I received a phone call from someone saying that he is from MTN. He wanted me to take a contract. I declined stating that I have always been pay as you go since I had a cellphone. The more he insisted, the more I declined. Next thing I started receiving sms's on my 073 nr from CCS lawyers to pay my contract. CCS lawyers refused to give me an email address. The said I had a contract on a 083 nr. I visited a MTN Store who confirmed that I have no contract on record and confirmed that it was a phone call. I did an affidavit stating that I do not have a 083 nr and have no contract with MTN. I emailed this to MTN. I'm now credit listed for this ********** contract. I receive no airtime or data and have no debit order going off my bank account. Just the other day, my husband received exactly the same sms from the same lawyers to say he must pay his contract. He's always been pay as you go Vodacom customer. This is a big ****. The lawyers can't supply me with the recorded transcript of my conversation. Bottom line is that I'm credit listed for something I don't have!
