It came to my attention on the 30/4/2015 that someone had without my permission used my identity number and banking details to open up an account at mtn.this account had been open according to my bank statements in September 2014.mtn has been deducting from my account since september. I went into mtn bluff towers (Durban ),with my bank statements,police affidavit and my identity document.I was told my the mtn consultant that they could not show me any documents or voice recordings,they couldn't even tell where or when the account was opened.in am out raged.does mtn not do the appropriate checkd when people open accounts.the consultant said that they could only suspend the account,they can't close it until their ***** department does an investigation.I am not even have any contract with mtn.
