*****ulant account opened in my name
I checked my credit profile the other day and it says I have an account open with MTN that was handed over.<br> <br> The account in question was opened on the 16th of August 2014.<br> <br> I have never had an account with MTN and I did not open one last year.<br> <br> I have requested that they tell me where this apparent account was opened (A***) and provide me with all related documentation to this contract.<br> <br> I think it is absolutely appalling that a failure on MTN's side to do proper checks has affected my credit profile and is inconveniencing my life.<br> <br> I have reported the matter to TransUnion and the South African Police Services. <br> <br> It has been 3 days and MTN has failed to even acknowledge receipt of my inquiry.
