*****, theft, dishonesty or incompetence
Monday 6 Jul 2020 at 2 am in the morning I received an SMS. Y'ello. Thank you for subscribing to Hungama Play - Daily at R5.00/day. 1st day free. To cancel dial *155#. Call 135 for help. Ts&Cs www.mtn.co.za. I DID NOT subscribe to whatever this is. R5 is not a lot of money, but theft is wrong. I did not respond to the message as I did not initiate it. I thought it was just an advert such as the others which MTN typically spam us with. Tuesday 7th: Y'ello. Your 1st day free trial to Hungama Play - Daily has ended. You are now charges at R5.00/day and were successfully billed. To cancel dial *155#
What should I do to stop MTN taking money off my account for unknown services without my consent?

09 Jul 2020, 09:45Thank you for those steps.
I figured it out and unsubscribed before you checked.
I have blocked all 3rd party messages. Hopefully it helps.
What bothers me is that they could sign me up without my consent! I have reported them to WASP .
