last month I was informed that someone stole my identity and opened an MTN using my name. When I phone MTN they told me they can't tell what this person purchased but what they could tell me was that the person bought it online... How do you verify a persons identity online? and it should be easy to track because I'm assuming this person bought a phone and it was delivered to them. My complain is that I sent my affidavit and certified ID copy on 20 October. I still haven't received any feedback and there's no number for me to call to follow up on? How much longer do I have to wait and what is being done to find this person????
