***** & POOR SERVICE
Please refer to reference number ***
On Friday 21 August I received a alert from trans union credit bureau that I was default listed by MTN. Upon investigation I saw that I have an outstanding amount of R50 000 against my name. And my credit rating dropped from 830 down to 610 because of this.
I immediately took action and emailed mtn on ***, I posted on their Facebook page and I disputed and reported ***** on trans union website. I went to the police station and took a affidivit to report the ***** and submitted my id and 4 x signitures.
I have not opened an account with MTN nor did I buy any product or service to the value of R50 000 since 2017 when I settled my account. I have only received response on the Facebook page via a reply on my post. they said it will be resolved in 72 hours. Yesterday was 72 hours. No once has phoned me to explain what is going on.
I am very upset about this as we were in the process of buying a house and now I have to put it on hold as my credit record has been effected!! I want to know how someone can buy products or services from MTN on my name!!!!!!
I want someone to contact me today!
