***** on my MTN account that has been completely ignored

I have been trying, since 18 Oct 2016 to find an answer to my query, which pertained to ***** being committed on a data package I purchased. It was a month package added onto my account. It was meant to be a fixed figure of just over R100 a month.

A few months into using the data I noticed my bill had risen dramatically. Eventually I was getting bills of up to R1800. I contacted MTN and was asked to send a letter through explaining the situation, which I duly did. I was also asked to provide an affidavit and various other documentation. which was also done.

I sent all of this information to Busisiwe Khumalo and she promised that she would sort it out for me. She mailed me on 4 Nov 2016 to say she was working on it. That was the last I heard from her. I sent email after email for a few months, but nothing. No reaction at all. Nothing.

I then gave up on trying to get hold of Busisiwe and got through to Thandi Ndebele. Went through the whole story again. Sent the documents through on the 24th of March 2017. She said I would be contacted with a resolution. And again, nothing!

We are talking about a large sum of money and I am extremely disappointed that MTN have completely ignored me. I have all of the email correspondence and reference numbers.

I am now officially at a complete loss as to how I should proceed.

But I will not give up on this.

Hi Alice,
Thank you for the response but I have sent both my ID and letter that was requested more than once. I have forwarded some of the emails sent through to both ladies.
