***** on my account - paying for the Nigeria fine?

On Friday 20 November I noticed an amount of R888 debited to my bank account, although I only have a data contract for 2GIG's a month of R105 pm. Upon phoning Ntombi Sindie assisted and advised me I have done an promo upgrade of R385.09 pm which includes 500MB at R92.11 and the balance is for calls made and for the device. I have only held a data contract with MTN since 2011. I was promised to be phoned/emailed within 2-24 hours, which included Saturday. So guess what nothing happened. I called again this morning just to explain my story to Morgan Nkomo who then said I need to send an affidavit done at our SAPS with a certified copy of my ID so that they can investigate. Why was I not told this on Friday?? Now I have to go in the week to sort this error by MTN. Not a sorry or anything. When I requested to speak to a supervisor I was placed on hold for +- 12 minutes, just to get Morgan on the phone again who said he spoke to the supervisor who confirmed what he said. No, he probably wanted me to drop the call. MTN you are ********* in all your dealings with customers. Will send documents and cancel my contract. WiFI Telkom my choice. Marile Visser
