***** not attended to and no communication

A ********** account was opened against my name and I found out via credit report. I submited an affidavit and copy of my ID at MTN Cresta mall (ref: REQ ********** 78143). They never got back to me. I then recieved a called from debt collectors (Shapiro Shaik) which I also forwarded the same documents I had sent to mtn. After a couple of inquiries from my side, I received a response from MTN legal (Zola Matshoba) informing me that the listing will be removed from my credit record. No apologies whatsoever. Today, i checked my credit record, the MTN account is still there.

I am extremely upset at the inconvenience this is causing me as I am in the process of applying for a home loan.
