***** MTN Sim Swop BEWARE

My sim on my cel phone was **********ly swopped within MTN (please explain how??) in Dec 2015.
The ********** person committed theft by transfering monies out of my banking accounts via cellphone banking. Thought there was securities in place? Luckily FNB & Nedbank have been great with assistance in this issue, to liaise with me & put in an effort to recover the monies ******.
A police case is open against MTN for *****.

But MTN has not made any response at all, after 2 months, since the crime was committed. I have reported the info by email, MTN representatives in stores & call centres & by numerous phone calls.

This service from such a huge company as MTN in SA, is a great worry. Having had a contract with MTN for almost 20 years. This is how they treat their customers. They need to root out *******ion within their ranks, if they ever want to build trust again.

Just a warning to all out there, for anyone with a cellphone, your account sim can be swopped so easily(remember MTN hav all your info)so if u ever have signal but no service suddenly, be VERY aware. Large amounts of money can be moved in minutes.

Await again, 2nd message posted on Hello Peter.
Will MTN respond?
