***** - MTN DOES NOT PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am totally disgusted by the service I received from MTN ***** department this morning. Late afternoon yesterday I received a call from a guy stating that there is a man in the store trying to do a sim swop on my number, do I give permission on which I rep**** a definite NO. He then continues by confirming my detail which he read out to me. Obviously I thought this was legit, as he has all my personal information. He then said to cancel the sim swop request I need to confirm a OTP, which I did, soon after started receiving sms that my monthly limit was increased with R2668, I then asked why and he dropped the call. Now all of a sudden I have huge amounts of data which I did not request nor did I sign for permission to increase my limit. An the rest of the R2668 is missing!!!!! I called the *****line this morning just to be informed: "You provided the OTP and therefore are liable for the R2668" - this is bullsh*t. How am I suppose to know this was a ******* as I he had all my detail - How the hell do MTN protect my personal info on record, if ******** could get hold of it that easily!!! Have you heard of POPIA??? I need this to be reversed from my account, as MTN DID NOT PROTECT my personal information
