In March 2017 I upgraded my cellphone contract to a 1GB Hp Laptop amounting to R369.00pm, and and the first payment was scheduled to be at the end of April, but I have been having problems ever since the new contract started, it has always been about insufficient funds. On April 29 MTN tried to deduct the amount of R896.06, which bounced back as there was insufficient funds, I then called the 808 MTN number asking what the problem was and they told me I had to pay R907.46 as I have not been paying, and on the 15 May I made a payment of R907.46, few days later I receive an sms saying I owe R1775.46, I called MTN again to find out what is going on, they tell me when I made the payment another paying date had been scheduled. We agreed that I will pay that full amount and ask for a refund of R907.46, and that was done. On the 2nd of this month I called MTN again asking them why did they not deduct their money or did they receive it already? and Mbalenhle the callcentre agent told me that they have received the amount of R868.00, I then ask how because my accounts amount is R369, and she told me I have been paying this amount from April hence the insufficient funds story all the time because I know I have hadthe correct amount in my account for MTN's debit to go through. The reference number for this particular call is ********** 73 and she also told me that I have been paying for two numbers, my MTN Account no is ********** 597 and the other one which I do not have any knowledge of is ********** 366 (which is for 100 minutes amounting to R499pm). Today I went to MTN in Bloemfontein to enquire further on this matter but it was all in vain, the lady there did confirm what Mbalenhle said and told me there is nothing she can do as this is a ***** case and I have to bring and affidavit stating that I declare that I do not know of that other number and a certified ID copy. I kindly asked if she could check for me who added it and she said she cannot and all I needed to do was to pay for the account I acknowlede and I refused and she also refused to give me the reference number for my visit today, the only thing I have is the ticket number I had which is E023. Could you kindly investigate on my behalf on this matter before I loose more money.
