Forced to pay for a service, I no longer wanted, no longer used - after serving my full contractual obligation for 24 months.

Hi MTN,

I have a huge problem with how I am expected to pay for a service I made clear that I don't want to renew (upgrade), I called and even sent internet requests through my mtn profile to have the line cancelled and changed but I would be cut off after waiting for more than 30 mins for my line to be answered.

Please may I also have the following:

May I have my contract agreement for the 24 months I served with the *** number.

May I have my Internet login reactivated so I can retrieve my requests to cancel my contract and have it moved to prepaid this was done in August, September and October.

May I please have records of when the line was no longer in use, this would be from November 2015. I stopped using the line due to being billed even after I have been requesting for it to be cancelled and changed to prepaid.

My 24 months contractual obligation was honoured fully until August 2015, why wasn't my line changed to prepaid thereafter, even when I made numerous requests for it to be done -but it was easily done on the *** number when I asked for it to be changed after honouring my contractual obligation period - why am I unfairly treated and forcely to use a service I no longer wanted, now I am being forced to pay for free minutes and sms I stopped using since October 2015 - 3 months after my legal contract got terminated.

The amount of 560 was paid for the 3 months (August, September and October) I used the line outside of the contractual agreement, which I believe is more because I paid 300 in November 2015. So an amount of R860 was paid to MTN until I fully stopped utilising the line because my cancellation request was not actioned accordingly.

Please may I book an appointment with the seniors of the departments to get resolution on this because my name is being drag in mug due to my request not being followed, I gave you your 24 months and 3 months thereafter, was I supposed to continue to pay? even when I was asked if I wanted an upgrade, and I said NO!

I would like a clear explanation as to why I am liable to pay for a service I no longer wanted but kept on being billed for it...for a service I asked to be stopped, but was still billed for it... for a service I honoured in line with the contractual agreement for 24 months, but continued to be billed for it even when I no longer used it and asked for it to be stopped...

I have paid MTN for their services...Please let me be - I cannot pay for the time after November 2015 because I didn't use the line, I requested for cancellation since from July 2015, November is outside of the contractual obligations and I have honoured for 24 months and the 3 months I used the line in after that.
