First Debit Order Going Off - Still No Internet
Good Morning Charlene Mabenge at MTN Centurion Mall,
How are you doing this fine morning? Just popping you a quick review to notify you that the like-for-like replacement ZTE router you gave me yesterday has exactly the same so called "out of box defect", which William likely pointed out to you over the phone as being a known design error (a known design error dating back as far as August based on the email exchanges I have in my inbox between MTN and ZTE, a known design error that relates to the ASR chipset of the ZTE MF286R)....you know that "out of box defect" I should clearly have been able to identify as such by myself within 7 days (as per the contract you e-mailed me only 12 days after signing it), even after being advised by the call centre that there is a network issue, that the problem has been "escalated" and that they are awaiting "feedback", as they've been diligently doing for the past 16 days now. Such dedicated people you have at MTN.
But hey, as you clearly reminded me in the store upon returning the router: it is my fault for not returning the router within 7 days for an "out of box defect" which is actually a known design error (but hey, that's just semantics isn't it), so MTN will happily keep on taking my money every month on the 17th.
So shall I then return the router again this morning for a second "out of box defect" warranty assessment? Hell, let's go all the way: how about we continue this exchange for say...the next 24 months or so. I keep bringing you back a router with a known design error, you keep swapping it for the same router with the same known design error, and you happily keep taking my money on the 17th of every month while I have zero internet. Seems like a good deal for MTN!
How delightful it is that my MTN handset 4G+ still works 100% perfect and that I am able to buy lots and lots of data bundles every month at such reasonable cost!!!
You have yourself a lovely day now Charlene, and God bless.
And never forget to live by your values...at MTN the customer is always wrong!
Warm Regards, Dries Beukes
