Fined for not receiving Quote

I handed my LG phone in to MTN a few weeks ago and was told I would get an SMS with the quotation for repair.<br> <br> Since then I have been watching for an SMS, but got none. <br> I tried contacting their Clearwater store (where I handed it in) repeatedly, but their listed number is incorrect and there was no response on the number Clearwater mall gave me.<br> <br> Today I was told that I need to pay 330 rand to release my phone because I never responded to their quote... I went through my SMS's with the call center lady, who was very rude, and showed I got no SMS, <br> She told me there is nothing I can do and that I have to pay the fee. <br> <br> I offered to go to a physical store and show them that I got no SMS, but she refused.<br> <br> I tried calling again, I eventually was put through with someone, who must have accidentally put down soon after stating her name.<br> <br> A half hour later I got connected again by a much friendlier lady who said she would forward my request to the repair center and left it at that.<br> <br> It is worth mentioning that I completely accept the Quote the ladies told me, I simply did not receive the SMS, and I refuse to pay for MTNs mistake, I am 19 and have to pay this with my own savings.
