Finally someone decided to help.

I had been having issues with my mtn number. I have been receiving spam messages, up to 100 per day. The call center would assist me, they said there was nothing they could do.

But today someone from MTN via twitter, @MTNzaService decided to go an extra mile and fixed it for me. The signature on their response was SG. Whoever you are SG, thank you.
