Fed Up With MTN Insurance Department
I dropped my phone and damaged my screen on the morning of the 11th of August. I have been trying to get hold of the Insurance Department every day all day since then. The only number they apparently have is *** and the moment you press \0"to speak to a consultant it cuts the call. This is the 3rd week this number does not work. I have sent numerous emails and faxes trying to talk to someone and no one bothers getting back to me. Last week Thursday I spoke to a consultant on the 808 number (normal MTN Customer Service) who checked the system and said she can see they rejected my claim as they still have insurance on my old 4 year old phone. I then sent proof immediately of the fax and activity report requesting my s4 mini to be insured. They had deducted insurance each month and I want this to be sorted out - still no response.

The service from MTN lately is totally unacceptable. If they refuse to entertain my claim then I am going to end my contract with them.

Hopefully someone will respond to this as a matter of urgency. If not then MTN will not get another cent from me."""
