Fed up Down with Mtn

on the 19/05/2016 I contacted Mtn and had a discussion with Lindi and requested that as my contract had expired, I would like to cancel current contract and have the number ported to prepaid. I was given the reference no. ********** 57. I was informed that the service would be terminated within 5 WORKING DAYS. This did not happen.

I waited till the 6/06/2016 and called Mtn again. spoke to Cecelia. using the previous refernce no. she informed that she would get the retentions dept to call me to resolve the problem and she further informed that this matter would be escalated and I would receive a call within a week from the said Dept. tyo date, today being the 22 June 2016, I have not received a call from the retentions dept and my service is still operational.

What the heck is going on. This is the second time I am having problems with Mtn when I want to port tele no to prepaid. Due to poor service I am moving. their staff dont seem to know procedures as i hAVE RECEIVED CONFLICTING INFO FROM THE CONSULTANATS.

wHY WOULD THERE BE A NEED FOR THE RETENTIONS DEPT TO CONTACT ME? I would expect a call from the retentions dept if a want to retain my contract. I have followed due process and I cant resolve the matter
