My phone was traumatically ****** from me in April 2017. When I signed a contract for my phone, I also signed for insurance. I sent my claim form in a few times so that I can get a new phone. After WEEKS I was told, after complaining on Hello Peter by "Mike", whoever that is, that I don't have insurance. I contacted the MTN branch where I got my phone. The person who I dealt with when I got my phone told me that he will request my contact and phone me back. LOL. Mtn never gets back to you. After days of phoning and trying to get hold of someone at MTN I was told that my contract shows that I did take out insurance but the insurance was never debited from my account and that its my fault and I should have checked that they were debiting. Who on earth has time to check that companies are doing their jobs? I automatically assumed, since I signed for insurance, that they were debiting it from my account. I requested a copy of my contract which I obviously haven't received. I don't have time for all of this ****. I have been without a phone for 7 weeks! I have spent hours of my time trying to figure out this mess. Can someone out there please give me some answers? I have asked for the contact details of someone that my lawyer can get hold of but no one seems to know anything. Who do I take this up with? Who will actually contact me and rectify this mess? I have been paying for 7 weeks for a phone that I do not have. I will take this as far as I can. this is totally disgusting. I have already contacted the Fourways review about this as many people have had problems with MTN Fourways mall. Sort this out now!
