Faulty Suspensions

This is basically the 4th time this is happening this year alone. My contracts get suspended, I spend about 2 hours waiting to speak to the consultants on 808 who eventually come on and are not able to tell me why I was Suspended, this is after they have just finished re-connecting my line.

Clearly there is an allocation problem at MTN as I have been suspended again, apparently due to an amount of over R 1 127.00 yet Debit orders have gone off problem-free. Please Re-connect my lines as I have no time to wait on the 808 number, If it was not for my wife, I would never have Upgraded, MTN has taken a turn for the worst.

Hello Shudzu69,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it has caused.

Please be advised that if your debit order returns unpaid twice the system automatically changes the payment options to cash on your account.

Once the account is on a cash payment option, you are given 21 days to make a payment after the invoice is closed.

Please be advised that your invoice date is on the 20 of each month and therefore the payment is due on the 11 of each month.

You are welcome to call in make arrangement for the end of the month. Should the 11 be an inconvenience.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Regards,
Nobuhle
