Good day,

I upgraded my contract with MTN from a sony experia M2 to a sony experia M5.
After 3 months the phone speaker didn't work, I went to mtn and they told me because there's a few scratch marks at the sim card & memory card insertion point on the phone, I am liable to pay minimum R350 to have the speaker fixed. I couldn't afford to pay that amount and so was forced to fix it at a local phone shop for R150. After 5 months into the contract the phone gave me more problems it would freeze a lot. When its off while charging it goes on by itself just until it almost dies completely, the same issues I experienced with the Experia M2, luckily I was due for an upgrade. I took the phone Back to MTN, they said they will send it away for repairs, I took it myself to where they fix their phones in Montague drive in Montague gardens after two days they said the phone cannot be fixed. Now I'm in a situation where I'm paying for a contract while I don't have the benefit of using the phone. I am being treated unfairly by MTN for a faulty device. I will take any kind of advice to alleviate myself from this situation.

Thank you.

Kader Khan
********** 035
