Faulty IPhone 7 on MTN contract- my problem

Good day

On Black Friday I took out a new contract with MTN for an iPhone 7, the service with regards to the contract was perfect, the sales person went the extra mile to help us get the phone. We signed the contract on the 25th of November and got the phone early the next week. By the 8th of December I brought it under the sales persons attention that the phone is faulty, the camera (front and back) is malfunctioning, each time I want to take a picture the phone freeze . Later on I also discovered that the flash doesn't work either and now the sound also doesn't work from time to time, no applications sound for example no sound on the Youtube app or the phone doesn't ring out loud when someone is calling.

I got married on the 15th of December and couldn't take the phone in to be repaired. When we got back I started to enquire about the faulty phone, I contacted MTN again and they suggest that I take the phone in to be repair, the bad is, I will be without a phone for 4-6 weeks, there are no phone available to borrow during the period, I am a financial advisor and use my iPhone for all my business, I travel a lot and then I am only available on my phone for both calls and e-mails it is also linked to my Apple Watch which help me to gain fitness points, if I don’t get an specific amount of fitness point I need to pay a montly subscription fee for my iWatch, not having a phone will therefore have a large impact on my life. I contacted the iStore as well and they said because I did not purchase the phone from them they could not help at all. Apple store where not of any help either.

The problem I have, I took out a new contract for a faulty phone, the phone didn't work from the start in my opinion if I purchase a product elsewhere I could return it and get a new one, now because I have a contract and can't get out of it I am under an obligation to send the phone in and be without one for 4-6 weeks. To pay R700 per month for a broken product are not fair, the phone malfuncationed right from the start. For me to get it fix and hope that the problem will not occure for the next 23 months are not fair.

I am not happy with the service of both MTN and Apple, when you purchase an Apple you expect a certain level of service, due to the product being an up market product. I love iPhone and waited quite a while to upgrade from my iPhone 5 (which gave me problems due to age and I decided to upgrade to a new iPhone) and still wont take any other device, but due to the above mentioned problem I am not happy.

I would like for either Apple or MTN to accommodate me urgently with regards to all the malfunction problems I am currently experiencing.
