Falsely selling data packages offering free showmax subscription for 3 months but that’s true and the call center staff is extremely rude

I recently purchased a MTN data package, 50GB for R299 with free showmax subscription for 3 months

This package does not come with free showmax subscription for 3 months this is a lie from MTN

I called the MTN customer care line this morning to enquirer about a data package that I recent purchased.

But the agent 1. Clearly didn’t understand the product cause she even had to that the R299 50GB package what is it

2. And what made matters worst is that she doesn’t know how showmax works and how the subscription works

And instead of referring me to the right people she was rude and telling me to go back to the shop where I got the SIM card

I asked her to transfer me to some who at least knows this package and how showmax works and she saudI must hang up the call and call again so that I cud speak to another agent. This happened after she put me on hold for 24mins

So I eneded up not getting help

MTN should really train their agents on its products.
