MTN service is non existing. I do not want to give any rating at all. The provide false information and when a client tries to rectify no one is willing to assist, 2 months later the problem is still not sorted

26 Jun 2018, 16:04MTN rewards contacted my parents telling them about a 2nd sim card that they can use for data. My parents asked several times if it was for data on the phone and it was confirmed yes. It would be for an additional R89 pm to the current account of R149. When they activated the sim card they found out that is NOT for the phone but data for internet, which they did not have!! My dad has been trying to stop it without success. In May the amount of R674,3 was deducted. He cancelled the debit order but then in June it went off again because MTN just put it through on another reference nr and amount of R537 went off his account. He paid in by cash the R149 of the normal account for this 1st sim card. According to Sandra of the MTN office both amounts has been paid back we will check the bank statements to confirm that. Where do they get that amount if it was for R89 ?? So false information was provided and the wrong amount was deducted and even after my dad cancelled the debit order, MTN just used a different code to take the money. I will see what is going to happen in July. I had a huge fight with Sandra of the MNT Wonderpark branch today. She kept on interrupting me, while I was trying to explain and after I tried several times to explain without success I later shouted that she must keep quiet so that I can speak. Then she told me I must stop shouting she is trying her best but it is not even her responsibility to help us with MTN rewards problems and she just kept on talking. I repeated myself about 10 times Give me time to speak until finally she kept quiet and I told her let me finish before you answer me and do not interrupt me the whole time. Then finally we were on the same page. I apologised for shouting at her and told her it would not have happened if she did not interrupt me. My parents phoned me later and told me that Sandra phoned them and complained about me. How dare she do that.!!! I am the client and we have been trying to sort this out for 2 months!!!! She did not allow me to finish my sentence and continuously interrupted me. Not once apologising to me and after I have apologised to her for shouting ONCE at her she complained about me to my parents. Then suddenly she could phone but otherwise she did not respond to my previous 2 messages and only send sms to my parents. Train your people how to deal with complaints as well. If she had not kept on interrupting me and use sentences like "let me explain it slowly" I would not have shouted. According to her both months money was paid back. According to my dad only one month. I will go with him and check his bank statements. If that amount is deducted again in July then I'm going to take legal actions. My parents are in their 70 and cant deal with this stress!!!
