False Impressions

<p>So I app**** for a Flexi R200 account about a month or two ago. First I was issued with the free 30GB data package, and when that ran out I tried to buy data (because I have R200+ on my account). I was unable to do so. </p> <p> </p> <p>I then phoned into the call centre and I was told that sorry, you can't use the R200 for anything but calling and SMS. First question is, why was I never informed of this? I had to open a credit limit on the line, and I had to buy data on that credit limit. This contract is now costing me more in a month which completely defeats the purpose of having a "top-up" contract. Second question, I am paying for that airtime every month - surely I should be allowed the choice of what to do with that airtime every month. I don't particularly phone as much, so I'm relying heavily on data.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am demanding an explanation about this. It is totally unacceptable. If you go to the shop and they tell you ABC, and then when you have to pay there's a complete different story, are you going to be happy about it? Didn't think so.</p>
