False adverti*****t by MTN - Please cancel my contract your Promotional data does not work

Please note I have been trying to cancel my MTN data plan contract since morning. I have been taken pillar to post, some call centre agent led to me its cancelled. I went to the shop only to find out it’s not true.

The reason for my cancellation is that the deal I bought last year December is false adverti*****t. I have some MTN anytime data coupled with promotional data. In actual fact the promotional data never works , I find myself having to top up data every month. The Customer care centre acknowledge this promotional data is not working as many clients are calling in to complain. Why am I liable to pay a cancellation fee is MTN is the one breaching the contract.

I have tried all my best to try cancel and get a new contract in store but the process is super frustrating and not client centric at all. This is not what you go through when you are signing up.

Please assist urgently.
