FALSE ADVERTISING - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

<p>What an adventure trying to apply for a contract with MTN, I now know why I do not have friends who have MTN accounts, no one can get one even if they wanted to.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been applying online for a MacBook MD101 contract since the 10th of October, first I started to apply online as MTN went on about how quick and convenient it is..... and then I waited. Do NOT even try to phone them on the number given as there is no answer and some days not even a tone???? </p> <p> </p> <p>I then thought, well maybe MTN is not yet at the stage where they can assist via their online portal, not developed enough. So I went to MTN at Mall@Reds in Centurion... what a joke! After a bit of circular conversation with the poor girl she referred me to the iStore... Fantastic!</p> <p> </p> <p>Jumped in my car and off i went... The iSTore does not have MTN contract on their system and they cannot do a new application. The lady referred me back to MTN of course! Luckily MTN is just around the corner from iStore in Centurion mall...</p> <p> </p> <p>WHAT A FLIPPEN WASTE AGAIN!!!!!! They cannot help me, their systems are offline and they anyway do not have stock of the MacBook, they cannot order and they cannot tell me where to go next! </p> <p> </p> <p>So now,,,, I phone MTN Stoneridge in Edenvale. The super friendly lady confirms I can go to them and apply there, no problem at all. They are online, they have stock, life is a peach! Maybe a ROTTEN peach... get there and proudly show her my printout of the package, and she tells me I cannot apply with them as they do not have this special in their store and neither do they have stock. WHY????? She promptly refers me to the direct store in Greenstone mall.... I also cannot apply there?</p> <p> </p> <p>Is this just false advertising????
