False advertising or *******
My fiancé and I took out contracts with MTN in September. I took the Huawei P10+. I had also browsed through the MTN specials booklet and saw that I would get a Free Huawei Mediapad 2 with my contract. We continued with the approval of the contracts, it got approved and I went to collect the cellphones. Upon my collection I asked the gentleman that was assisting us about this Huawei Mediapad he then responded and said that they never got the stock for it, I said oh ok so what happens now he then said no he will let me know when they receive the stock then I can just come and fetch it. I found this very suspicious since from the start he never said anything about the mediapad. When I asked him why he didn’t tell about the free mediapad with my phone he said that he didn’t want to tell about it because they do not know how long they have to wait for the stock to come. So now I would like to know if this is the truth of have I just been cheated from a package MTN offered. I have attached the offer.
