False advertising of receiving 1GIG data after downloading the My Mtn APP !!!

As advertised, if you download the My MTN App you will receive an 1GIG data within 24hrs after downloading the App.

Well I downloaded the App on Thursday morning, 18 October 2018 @ 10:30, I did not receive any 1 GIG data, I phoned MTN and they said that it takes 24hrs to receive the data.

On Friday 19 October 2018 @ 11:00 still NO 1 GIG data, so I phoned MTN again, the lady had a look, and saw that NO data was loaded, so she escalate my query, which can takes up to 48hrs she said !!

SO WHY ADVERTISE YOU CAN RECEIVE 1GIG DATA WITHIN 24HRS AFTER DOWNLOADING THE APP, AND THEN WAIT ANOTHER 48HRS ?????
