False advertising - MTN SA

On 6th January 2017 I went to MTN in menlyn to renew my contract. I selected an LG G5 phone which was coming with earphones as it was advertised in their magazines. After signing all the necessary documents I was only given the phone and they told me that the earphones were out of stock and they will call me when they arrive. I was surprised because if the store had 20 phones they should ensure there are 20 earphones to go with as per their adverti*****t. I called the store in February seeing that it was already 2 months and they never called me. They promised to call me after 1 week because they were expecting stock. They never called. In May I went to the store and requested to speak to the manager. The manager told me i was on the waiting list because apparently i was not the only one waiting for the earphones. They could not tell me the number of people before me when they told me i was on the waiting list. They promised to call and never did. Today it is 6 months and MTN think I forgot about my earphones. They are wrong because I still want them. False advertising is against the law. I'm not prepared to wait any longer. 6 months is too long.
