False advertising in MTN August brochure

I am a MTN contract client for many years and never had a problem with them. On my last upgrade 2 years ago I opted for the SKY deal sim only, as I had a new phone, mine was ******. This year I was invited to upgrade, which I thought was a good idea. I fetched the August 2020 brochure from a store in Midrand and decided on a SKY 30GB data plan which was advertised in the brochure on page 6 as Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra for the amount of R1749 per month for 24 months. I went to the store and the lady did all the admin procedures and even went to the back to collect the phone. The system did not want to finalize the deal as the code on this package was different. the price on the code was for an amount of R2,199. She made some calls to other stores and was told that the phone on the deal was a misprint and that communication was send to all dealers. Long story short, I tried it online by phoning 135, the people were very helpful and even agreed with me that I should get it at the price in the brochure, he will talk to his manager and come back to me. This was done on the 7th Aug. By the 11th I had no word from them and contacted the 135 number again, I told the lady what my problem was and she was actually very rude and said they are covered against false advertising, but could not tell me where I can find that clause in the brochure. I then went went to another outlet at Kyalami Corner shopping center. He confirmed that they never received the E Mail that was send to them on the 4th that the phone and price is incorrect,. The mail was then forwarded to him by another branch. This gentleman was very professional and really tried to help me. This all boils down to false advertising and a lack of communication between MTN head office and the outlets. I think that the client is also protected by the CPA in advertising that leads to false expectations. I would like someone from MTN to give me a clear explanation why I cannot claim the phone that is advertised in the brochure and on the online brochure. I agree that the difference in the amount is not the end of the world but it is wrong and MTN needs to do something about it, I am sure there are a lot of clients that got misled by this advertising.
