False Advertising

Greetings

I visited the Midrand outlet at Boulders Center today, because I wanted to apply for a new contract. I would like to get a phone for my mother, so I was looking for the cheapest phone in the store. I had seen online offers prior to visiting. When I got to the store the Samsung A Core was advertised at R99 per month on the R60 airtime package, however, on the system it was R129. When the lady told me it is R129, I then asked why it is advertised as R99 in the branch. She and a colleague of hers went and removed the advert and then she called someone informing her that someone not known to me, had been the a week ago and He placed the advert as R99, but it's R129 and that prices have increased since last month. It is not my fault that someone mislead me. If prices have changed were they not seeing this advert everyday when they came to work or they just walk blindly. The service rendered to the people who were waiting to be served was appauling and poor. Two people were working and the rest at the back laughing out loud at some point. Customers were asking to be served and the same lady who was serving me told them that they must not foster here, she is still busy with me, rudely so. I could have app**** for a contract anywhere, but I came to MTN, because I have had contracts with you for years and I never had debuting issues or poor network issues, but you advertise one thing, and tell me that prices are subject to change. What happened to the consumer right, the price I see is the price I should get.

I want that contract at the price I saw of R99.

Kind Regards Jabulile
