False advertising - Datashare
<p>Datashare is a service provided by Mtn that allows an a mtn customer to use their sim and share data with other mtn users. However, after spending 2hours trying to register my number with datashare (because I was unable to get ahold of anyone at customer care) and finally getting through to a consultant the next day only to be told that i as a contract holder cannot share data with someone that has a prepaid mtn sim. I finally thought mtn had come up with a great new concept but it's clear that it's only just a great disappointment. </p>

Thank you Mike for your response. However, I am aware that the data share service has been activated as I have activated it. Unfortunately I am unable to add the numbers I would like to share data with which is where my problem lies. As communicated on the mtn website we as mtn customers can share data with any other mtn number whether it be prepaid or a contract but this is not so,according to your customer service department contract holders can only share data with other contract holders and prepaid accounts with only other prepaid accounts. Please verify, if this is not so please assist with adding numbers to my list.
