False advertising

On the 5th September I walked out of MTN with 2 Samsung Galaxy S6 phones. This was taken because they offered 1GB worth of data for the first 3 months. The person who assisted me never once told me this expires after a certain period because I know that during our conversations I had brought up the fact that the 1GB was important as my husband works overseas and we chat daily. When my data expired after 48 Hrs they said they were not even aware of that. Now they have come back and said that \Apologies for the wait however the billing department is still investigating and they have confirmed that the data<br> for the 3 months is only valid for 7 days after activation"How can you advertise something for 3 months but then suddenly discover that its on valid for 7 days. That's false advertising and had I been given this information I would not have continued to be part of MTN and Moved my business elsewhere. Clearly being part of MTN for more than 16years means nothing to MTN and maybe my patronage will be better handled and appreciate at a competitor. does anybody even do honest business anymore. There is always a catch somewhere and ****** like MTN keep getting away with this."""
