I was at Mtn in Mitchells Plain Westgate Mall. I browsed through their catalogue to buy myself a new phone (cash by the way). I then saw the Samsung S9+ in the catalogue which showed you get the Samsung Gear2 for free if you purchase it cash. I then purchase the phone which by the way the store had no stock of and had to contact their Branch in Promenade to find out if they have stock which they did. Which i also had to go collect myself after the sale was done in Westgate Mall. But my issue is that when the sale went through, i asked if i will only collect the phone in Promenade or the Gear2 as well which to my surprise the sales lady told me the Gear2 has got nothing to do with Mtn. It is a Samsung initiative and to get the Gear2 you have to download the Samsung Rewards App and get it from there. My question is then why would you advertise it in an MTN Catalogue? Is it to atract more customers because that was the reason i went for the S9+ to get the Gear2 as free which is advertised in your catalogue MTN. There is no explanation in the catalogue to say that the Gear2 is a Samsung initiative. How dissapointing that i now have to wait 8 weeks to get my free product. Which i dont even know if the thing went through on the Samsung Rewards App.
Im am very unhappy and disapointed
