I am due for an upgrade this month and have been looking at my options. As from the beginning of February MTN has been offering the new Huawei MATE 9 for pre-registration. I registered and have had one phone call saying they are still awaiting stock. There new March Catalogue has a whole page advertising this phone. I tried to upgrade on line and Guess What? I get this message saying the deal has expired!!!!

Can MTN please advise if this phone is going to be available anytime soon or am I to look at other options. Very bad marketing as even the staff at MTN have no idea about the phone or when it will be available. The one lady I spoke to says she hasn't even seen the phone or been told anything about it.

Best regards,
I called the customer call centre and they advised that stock is not available online but I must call the stores and they might have stock. How can your customer call centre not know who has stock and who doesn't. I do not have time to phone every single store to find out if they have stock.
